We're all going to chip in, but figure she'll get lingerie and blenders from other friends and family. Would ideally want a gift that is just for her

How about a travel bag with her name/monogram on it to take on her honeymoon? Or a passport case that says "bride" or "just married." Redenvelope.com has some great ideas. Also try plumparty.com.

I know that all of my friends who are going through wedding planning are stressed to the max and just miss the fun they had with their boyfriend before they had to deal with all of the wedding planning.

Something that has become a really appreciated gift is a weekend away. What you do is pick a date about 4 weeks before the wedding and make sure she and her fiance are scheduled off of work (you'll want to give her at least 2 weeks notice). Then pick a place about 2 hours away a book a hotel for them, make reservations and purchase a gift certificate for dinner, and give instructions that no wedding planning should happen for those 2 days. If you have more to spend you can also get a gift certificate to a local movie theater or club. Trust me, if she is like any bride I ever met, she'll love you.

Perhaps a gift certificate to her favourite spa for a massage, manicure/pedicure, etc. would be appropriate. It's a great way for the bride-to-be to relax before her big day. :)

Good luck!

If it were me, I would like a gift certificate to my favorite store or to get my hair done or my nails done. This is more of a personal, to her gift. That is nice that you ladies want to do this for her.

Check her registry and see what she has on there. If that doesnt work try to figure out what she likes and go from there...a spa day is always nice too.

I would get her a certificate to have her hair or nails done the day of her wedding.
