okay so theres this guy i've known since 7th grade (were in 9th grade now) and over the summer of 8th grade we talked alot and he always said we should hang out and also mentioned hooking up with me... but i wanted more of a chase so i kinda stopped talking to him 2 weeks before school started...
at school he was always saying hi to me or trying to get my attention everytime we passed each other (of course i would wave back and we stopped to talk a couple times)... but we dont see each other to much and when a friend asked if he liked anyone he said "i don't know" ... do i have a chance or what? i want to figure this out by homecoming which is a week after next. HELP

You have a chance. Guys always know if they like someone, and they don't just stop for no reason someday typically. He just thinks you may not be interested anymore and doesn't want to put himself out there and look like an idiot. It can be tough being a guy sometimes always being expected to make the first move. And sometimes when we do make the first move, women will blow us off just because they want to be "more of a chase" and we don't know if thats what it is or if they just really aren't into us, so its even harder to be persisted when we feel like we were already rejected once. Just make it known you like him and (and you're gonna have to make it fairly obvious) and things will be fine.

Well, I don't see why you stopped talking to him if you still liked him.
Although I guess you could say you really do have a 'chase' going on now. So you basically got what you wanted.
Just try talking to him sometimes before the dance. See if he wants to hang out or anything. I'm sure he doesn't dislike you or anything, maybe he just doesn't know you as well as he used to now.
I'd say just let him know how you feel, after talking to him for a bit. Best to see what could happen rather then never knowing.

Well, I'm not a expert but i know when a guy likes me. It's seem he does like you. But i may be wrong because you didn't give me enough information on how he act toward you. Does he give you more attention than the other girls? Do you know any of his friends? If so, ask one of them if he does like you (the friend that says the truth, of course.) But if you say you both stop to talk to eachother. Then ask him if he have feelings for you then. Hints if he likes you: Does he look at you a lot? Does he check out your body a lot? Does he do nice things for you? He, HE. Go for it. It won't hurt to know.

yeah of course guys always play hard 2 get dont woory about it u need to make the first move but dont look desperate. i dont know normally means yes and he might just wanna look good in front of his friends u know how guys can be so keep ur hopes up my advice 2 u is try talking 2 him at lunch let him no u r still interested but dont look 2 avaliable or deseperate. i am sure u know how 2 play it kool. trust ur instincts i know this is corny but follow ur heart and have FUN we wont be teens for much longer so we need 2 live our lives to the fullest dont waste a minute malke a move
