I don't think Humans really care about anything except their own agenda. I think humanity is doomed to failure. We cannot get over our primal instincts and I think that this will be our downfall. We will ultimately destroy ourselves. Sad but true. This is why I don't believe that there is a higher power, such as a God. If this being existed, why would he create such a contradiction? Intelligence mixed with instinct. Then put us here to fight ourselves. Fight our own programming to overcome natural needs to follow 'the right way'?

The only reason I care is because I have kids. I don't like the idea that they will be growing up into a more corrupt and dangerous world.

Hi Friend I think that most intelegent people are concerned about the fate of humaity. How could they not be? The more one has love for mankind I think the more the individual cares.
