How can I stop my oatmeal cookies from flattening out so much. I live near 5000 feet.?

The cookies are made with soda. These cookies contain oatmeal, sugar, flour, butter, soda, cinnamon, nuts, raisins, chocolate chips (which I leave out), salt, vanilla, etc.

I would try adding more flour. I like to pinch the dough between my fingers and see how sticky it is if it feels a little moist I add more flour.

I have also found that switching from butter to butter flavored Crisco stops that problem. I sold cookies on eBay for a quite awhile and everyone loved my cookies then and everyone loves them locally!
