Judge not, that ye be not judged. Matthew 7:1. So-called Christians may be judgemental. But those who really do what Christ says, aren't. So you gentiles out there who hate stereotypes don't call the whole "basket" bad because of a few "rotten apples".

More so than anyone else on the planet! But they can justify their hatred by mindlessly quoting bible scripture and adding their weekly tithe to the collection plate in exchange for forgiveness.

I was told when I was 4 that I couldn't play with my best friend because their Christian family found out that I didn't go to church. I had Christian relatives steal and lie to me "for my own good." I was fired from a job because I am not religious. Now my country is in the crapper because our greedy, idiotic leader hides behind God.

I'd say it's far more difficult to dig through all the rotten apple cores to find the few GOOD ones!

Well, chances are you are a gentile if you are a Christian. A gentile is someone who is not a Jew--it has nothing to do with Christianity.
As for judging people....the Christians I see on TV, read about in the paper, and listen to on here seem very judgemental to me. I have lost track of the number of times someone has screamed in my face (literally and figuratively) that I am going to burn in hell, that I am a terrible person because I don't believe in God etc. To a certain extent, every Christian in the world is judgemental because they believe that everyone who doesn't believe in their God is going to hell to be tortured forever. In our society, we don't even torture convicted criminals. How much worse of a person must you be if you are going to be tortured for all eternity? Therefore, Christians must believe that every non-Christian on the planet is a thoroughly reprehensible person--even though they have no idea what kind of life that person might have lived. If they don't believe that but are still okay with people going to hell...well, in my opinion that just makes you monsters.

If you want to banter about your theological expertise you need to stop using scripture to further your own posture of hatred towards Christians. The ability to make rational and reasonable judgments is a God given attribute within the constitution of what it is to be human. The scripture you are referring to has to do with those who pass judgment on others to draw attention to the fact that they were guilty of sins just as bad or worse than those they were passing judgment over. If you cannot make judgments over what is right and wrong you have no innate ability to make moral decisions. I am a Christian and ...yes, I make judgments, personal and otherwise. God judges sin and expects us to do the same. You need to get off your high horse and get real about what constitutes being a Christian. Do you know any other Scriptures?

Heh, aren't you judging the "gentiles" by saying they're judging you?

Face it, human nature is to judge. The litmus test comes when you get the urge to act on those judgements alone.

yes, Christians are judgemental and hypocrites, too, of course not all.

one friend in particular, who i thought and proved she was a friend and faithful to God, turned out to be a little witch and hypocrite.

i have seen more people like this, sadly, at church. i am a Christian myself and it makes me sick to see this so much lately. now, i don't even need church or want to hear about it for that matter.

Some are, some aren't.
Yet when Christ was saying that, he was talking about writing people off to hell. He was not talking about being wise and making assessments of people's good/bad choices.
And just because Jesus said it, doesn't mean we will do it. We can only hope we do.
