Depends on the course you want to do, if its Higher Education (level 4 or above, i.e. HNC, HND or degree) you can get help from your Local Education Authority (your county council). However if its Further Education (level 3 or below, i.e. NVQ2/3 AS levels, GCSEs that kind of thing) you may be eligible for assistance through the college's Learner Support Funds. All college's have this, it is like a hardship fund, although they all have different rules on income thresholds and different amounts they can allocate to their students.
I'd advise you to speak to their Student Services department and ask for the welfare or finance adviser. They will be able to advise you on the relevant funding and the sources you can access, they might even be able to offer assistance with other costs such as books or travel.

wow 800 pounds for one course is a lot of money. As far as I know school is not that expensive in Europe. I am not sure what kind of financial aid you could get. I suggest go to the registrars office at school and ask where you can get info on financial aid. Cheers!

HI
The college you wish to go to may offer a bursery scheme, otherwise could you get a sponsorship from a charity, go to the library and find the charities directory, in there you will find millions of charities and they list what financial help they may give.
Also check out the DfES website as there will be heaps of info on there for students.

lol you people take the piss some is actually bothering with education and all you do is take the piss.
anyway you ask the college if you could pay for the course in quotes! just ask them what ways you could pay them, no harm in doing that!
GOOD LUCK

If you're not from the US, then our advice can not be of help to your circumstances. We're not sure what grants, scholarships or financial aids are available in your country.

Cut yourself into small pieces, and stick yourself back together again.
You will be a collage.
