he Bhagavad Gita (Sanskrit: भगवद् गीता - Bhagavad Gītā) is an ancient Sanskrit text comprising some 700 verses of the Mahabharata (Bhishma Parva chapters 23 – 40). The verses, using the range and style of Sanskrit meter (chandas) with similes and metaphors, are very poetic; hence the title, which translates to "the Song of the Divine One", of Bhagavan in the form of Krishna. It is revered as sacred by the majority of Hindu traditions, and especially so by followers of Krishna. In general speech it is commonly referred to as The Gita

Bhagavad-gita is also known as Gitopanisad. It is the essence of Vedic knowledge and one of the most important Upanisads in Vedic literature.
Bhagavad-gita is universally renowned as the jewel of India's spiritual wisdom. Spoken by Lord Sri Krsna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, to His intimate devotee Arjuna, the Gita's 700 concise verses provide a definitive guide to the science of self-realization. Indeed, there is no other work even comparable in its revelations of man's essential nature, his environment and ultimately, his relationship with God.
If one properly follows the instructions of Bhagavad-gita, one can be freed from all the miseries and anxieties of life.

I try to make it into few sentences.
Do your duty and never expect the return from that. That will be taken care by beloved God.
What has to happen, it will happen
What should not happen, that should not happen
What was happened, it would have hap pend.
I am not confusing you. it is confusion of God .
Read several times, neither you understand, nor get fainted. because you have to read perfectly the book, which was given at the battle field. Very inter sting philosophy.
