Your right on the border line, it could be beautiful and then again it could get a little cold, but should not be any snow at that time, and not a deep cold, but cool, sometimes you might get an indian summer, check the long range forcst about 10 days before you go, should give you a clear picture! Good Luck and have a safe trip.

I grew up one hour away. My parents told me the nights were around 50 degrees lately. It can get cold and D.C. usually gets their first snow fall in November if not before. It will get as low as 30 at times but beautiful crisp clear days in the 50's or 60's.

This is really one of the best times of the year to visit Washington. It's cool, there's no humidity and winter hasn't started yet. Bring along a jacket, always pack an umbrella (just in case) and have a wonderful time.
Just to be sure. check http://www.wtopnews.com/index.php?nid=7 before you leave to get a better picture.

It's usually cool by then. You'll want to bring a jacket. But why not check out weather on the web just before you pack for the trip? We locals use several sites, including wtopnews.com.

Wunderground.com is the best weather link I've ever found.
Go to the website and select the city you want to know about. When that city pops up, look midway down the screen to see a place where you can look up weather history.
It's wonderful! (A link for your city is below.)

We don't know! LOL The weather here changes so much! It can be 90 degrees one day and 65 the next. Bring a little of everything because you'll never know.

It's typically in the 60's but could be as warm as 70's. Pack for cool fall weather, bring one warm jacket and long pants/long sleeves. You will be good.
