absolutely! gandhi cited the fact that much of his influence was from Jesus. He did not believe in Jesus as the Son of God, but he thought that the way Christ lived was the best way to live.

Probably. I'm sure Gandhi knew that Jesus was said to have lived the sin free life and no man could have done it. Jesus set the perfect life example of 30 years of nothing but peace and healing.

He was aware of them. And he called himself essentially a man of all religions when he said he was a Hindu, Buddhist, Muslim, Christian, et al.

But he wasn't influenced enough if he could make a statement like that.
