People who have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior and have been baptized in Jesus' name and then received the precious gift of the Holy Ghost evidenced by not only speaking in other tongues as the spirit of God gives the ability but also living right and possessing the fruit of the spirit in your life. Tongues is the initial evidence, a moral life comes later and isnt always as apparent.

The Quran the Tora and all the other religious texts of the world say different things. Who is right? Who is wrong? How about what ever you choose to beleive that is right for you. If you beleive that because you have not received a sign from your god that you are not accepted by god. Well then you will probably die waiting. Religion is a theory based system for the most part. It is there as a guide for people to use, as a tool throughout their lives. I beleive that religion is not the be all to end all when it comes to life and family. Look around you, at your friends and family. Especialy if you have children. That should tell you right there if you are a blessed person or not. Worthy of your god or heaven. If you live life worrying about things like this too much you'll forget to enjoy life and you'll neglect the other things and people that are good around you.

A child of 'god' is, in my opinion, anyone born into this world. After all, the bible states man was created by 'god'...Adam...and then he created woman from the rib of Adam. So now we have two people, Adam and Eve, living on earth...correct. So...we are all descendants of Adam and Eve (according to the bible) and hence we are all children or creations of 'god', seeing 'god' made us. So that makes us all one big unhappy family whether you like it or not. So, how can humanity decide who is and who isn't a child of 'god'. It doesn't matter if you're Muslim, Buddist, Christian, Catholic, Bahai, Orthodox, Jewish or what ever else is out there, they all have one thing in common...'god' and the son of 'god'.
Churchs preach about the poor and how the world should help, my suggestion is to let the church open up it's purse strings and show us how to do it by example...Sorry a little side tracked there...anyway...
If you ask me, I think it's a little far fetched to think that every man and child in the world is the product of two people...now I'm not saying there is no 'god', but to believe we all came from the same seed...well...I can't buy it. And you can't believe what you read in the bible, because it was not written by 'god'...it was written by man. This means that the person writing any particular part of the bible is expressing his views...not fact. Let's not forget that Vatican City is sitting on thousands of books that were not picked to be in the bible, because they showed a different prespective of what was going on. I think the bible is the oldest device invented to brainwash millions and millions of people.
This is my opinion and feel free to thumb me down...I couldn't care less what you think...my belief of a 'god' or a higher being or even some alien race running experiments here on this planet, is in my heart (which means I believe in myself...that I am enabled with a brain that tells me right from wrong...moral or immoral and I treat other people with the the respect that they deserve), not some church or temple, or what ever you pray in...these things, as well as the bible, are a product of man, not some supreme being.
edit:
All this fuss over 'allah' is better than 'god' or your 'god' and my 'god'...aren't 'god and 'allah' the same person, along with ilah, eloha, eloi, yahweh, jehovah, elohim, deus, Jah, ngai, niskam, ishvara, baquan, waheguru, akal, onkar, aum, anami purush, bahá, The Great Spirit, The Master of Life, The Master of Breath, Grandfather, sugmad, hu, shà ng di, shen, and ehyeh asher ehyeh and who knows how many more.
The original spelling of 'god' taken from the Aramiaic language is alaha.

you're right, everybody aint a child of God, it is written in the bible. it is also written in the bible that a child of God listens and follows the word of God (John 8:47). those who do not want to listen and follow God's word are of evil (John 8:44). read the bible.

I became a child of God, the day He saved my soul. He cleansed me, and washed my sins away. God sure made a change in me. I become a new person. I have no desire for sin. My desire is to serve the Lord. I love going to church, praying, and reading my Bible. I put my Faith, and Trust in Jesus. I want to tell others how much Jesus loves them, and how to be saved. Jesus is my everything!

You recieve the Holy Spirit when you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. My proof: I can feel it- I'm a different person!
Also, baptism is not when you recieve the Holy Spirit. The reason for baptism is that Jesus told ust to- it is a witness to the world, saying, "Look! I am following Jesus now, and I am going to tell the world!" It is an act of obedience and a public proclamation of your faith.

all I can tell you is you will know when you know...I'm sorry I wish I had the vocabulary to be able to describe it to you but it is something that cannot be put into words.......for me....I woke p one morning about 4 years ago and realized my entire purpose of this life all in a moment's time....I waited patiently and He knew I was seeking Him (something more) and that morning He decided it was time for me to know Him....He waited til I was ready because there was so much emotion and knowledge in my heart that I probably wouldn't have been able to handle before.
It's like I had been standing in the shallow end my whole life and one day I decided to make the jump into deep water and what I found there will stay with me forever....Love of Christ...I am a child of God because He told me Himself....just listen and you will be able to hear His voice too.
God bless you child and brother
love your sister -freebird-

That's exactly why I'm skeptical of your book. God taking sides? Does that sound more like an impartial God or a self-centered human? You connect the dots.
Your book was never meant to be a weapon. (I AM saying something good about it, here.) It wasn't meant to be DIVISIVE. (Look up that word in the dictionary.
