Where do you get layout ideas and embellishment ideas?

Creative Memories is a company that sells scrap book stuff. They have awesome scrap book layout idea books. Some are simple and some more detailed. Plus if you find a consultant you can go to scraping parties where you take all your stuff and scrap with other women. Its fun and a good time to get away for awhile. And you can use everyone elses tools

my favorite is the scrapbooking magazine put out by Better Homes and Gardens. It's called scrapbooks, etc. Also, sometimes I shop in the scrapbooking section of the store and find some cute embellishments that I fiddle around with until I have a good layout.

I love it, but never have enough time.
When I look at magazines for embellishment ideas, I get to the point where I could spend $50 bucks on a page of pictures. I decided this was very very decadent - wonderful for an occasional page, but not the way to display most photos.
I tend to get the layout ideas from the pictures themselves. I rearrange them over and over on the page and a natural arrangement emerges.

I love scrapbooking! I normally look online!! There's hundreds of websites if you just google the word scrapbooking layouts! If you have a Hobby Lobby Store in your area they have lots of books with layouts~!

I have never been into that at all. It is so expensive, but I know that you can google many things and get some stuff to use and ideas for free...

fat book "Scrapbooking your favorite family memories" is my favorite.
