My hair is full of static! It sticks out and clings to my face. The more I try to move it off my face the worse it gets. What can I do?

it isnt just weather related, it can be many things but, if you dont use conditioner, you should, also, fabric softenr on your clothes helps too, and if you use a blow dryer, use it on medium or low heat and dont dry your hair completely dry. mine used to do that as well, now i dont have any probs with it, and i also use non aerosol hairspray to keep it where it is supposed to be.

It usually happens when the weather gets colder. Your hair may be a little dry - try using a little extra conditioner or a hydrating shampoo.

If you're worried that you're hair will look flat from too much conditioner, try rubbing a comb with a fabric softener sheet - it'll take the static right out!

there is also antistatic stuff for skirts and legs (so that the skirt doesn't cling), you could spray some on your hair, seriously. It works about 4 hours. Your hair must be light and dry. Some water will help as well, but not for a long time.
Oh, and my antifrizz spray says also that it makes hair less static, i use Nexus.

Static in the hair is due to the weather and it can also because your hair isnt hydrated enough. Try getting a moisturizer for you hair or try changing your shampoo. Good luck.

another tidbit, use a leave in spray on conditioner, it helps with the static but doesnt weigh the hair down like heavier conditioners
