How old are you? Do you live with your mom? If you are under 18 and live at home, you may have a problem.
Is you mom willing to get to know your bf?
My mother is also quite racist. I once had a party and some African American kids showed up and when they left she made a big deal about the fact that she now had to throw out the glasses they had used cuz they were contaminated.

Wondering how old you are...if you're still under her roof and under 18, you are pretty much screwed. People like that aren't likely to change, at least not without time. You can sneak around if you want, but chances are you will get busted eventually. I unfortunately have a racist dad, but at 33 I am no longer living at home, and the rest of my family and friends accept my boyfriend just fine (he's black)...and my dad is alienating people by his dark age views.

Well your mom is probably a bigot or worse, but you have to respect her wishes. Don't bring him around because it will only cause problems only on TV do people change in a blink of an eye. If he shows he is good and decent your mother will eventually come around.

mabey you should really see if this hot guy really loves you. girls should not date a guy for thier looks, but if he's nice and all it might be o.k. cause some good looking boys just wanna get under your dress and dump you later. now for your mom she is half right and half rong, she is rong to juge people you love just cause he's tan skin, but on the other hand she is right you should be careful, just find out who he is first don't be so eager to pick boys cause love is every where, just don't hit into the rong love. your mom is just caring and so am i.

do not hardship about what your mom has to assert. he's your guy not her's. i'm Mexican and function to handle that each and every of the time. tell her the way you sense about the way she treats him. tell her She raised you to be style, thoughtful and accepting, and that she might want to be an same. tell her that in basic terms because he looks Mexican would not recommend he's and regardless of if he were Mexican it would not make him an unlawful immigrant.

Don't worry about your mother, just keep it together with him. I wish I had a tan good-looking boyfriend. Your mother thinks people with dark skin are bad luck it's not. People are people regardless of what color they are.

I would say listen to your mother beacuse it sounds like the only reason why you like him is because hes "sexy." However, if you do truly love him, then I would say you should try and explain that to her.
