Dear Matthew,
It depends on the situation.... If I have just gotten married, then the first night of our (my wife and I) honeymoon will when we become intimate. God tells us that the wedding bed is not defiled.
However, if you have sexula relations (intimacy) with a person who is not your spouse then you have committed fornication, which is a sin. Adultery is another sexual sin. You see when one becomes married, the husband-wife relationship is to be until death separates the two. We read in Mark 10:9 ...What God hath joined together, let not man put asunder... You see, with "Christians" there should never be divorce! However, because of the misinterpretation of the Scriptures, we now live in a world in which the divorce rate among "Christians" is almost at the same rate as non-christian. Why is this? Well, for one thing just because a person says he/she is a "christian" does not mean that they have been truly born again (see parable of wheat and tares). I am getting away from the definition of adultery though. Adultery is when one divorces or puts away ones spouse and marries another person. God tells us that the husband-wife relationship can only be terminated by the death of one of the spuses. When death occurs, then the living spouse is free to marry another person.
Today, however, all the rules of God have been discarded. Teenagers and children are having sexual relations, homosexuality is increasing, and all kinds of lascivious behaviors are tolerated!
I have listed a website at the bottom which gives much info on the last days. Everythin is free and you can download it off the computer or call and order it to be sent to your home. I hope that it helps.

Perhaps you would be better served to stop worrying about what IS sin and live a life that benefits you and those about you. We do not need a preacher to tell us what sin is...we already know the parameters. When you live a life that is tempered by "Is this a sin," and you actually have to ask if it is a sin, then you are living someone elses life, not your own. Good luck

It is not a sin as long as it is done within marriage. It is beautiful and meant to be that way. Outside of marriage it is a sin against the commandment concerning adultery. Even if one is not married, joining ones body to another outside of marriage is a betrayal to the betrothal-- as you were baptized you were betrothed to God.

Every single denomination with the Body of Christ is not it's own religion.

Yes, if you aren't married. It is considered fornication outside of marriage.

Yes! It is called fornication. It is forbidden by God to have sex before marriage. Sex after marriage with anyone other than your spouse is adultery. That is also forbidden by God.

If you don't know what's considered a sin in YOUR own religion you've got a problem.

In the spiritual sense, a virgin has oil in their lamp which is goodness of heart.
