Real dandruff is an oily condition. It is thick. yellow chunks. It is a fungal infection. Little white flakes is not dandruff. It is dry skin, or normal skin shedding. We shed our skin every 28 days. Shampoos like head and shoulders work for this because it is tar based and the flakes stick to it.

Dandruff is actually dry, flaky skin. So, your scalp is dried out. It could be a change in weather, over-washing your hair, many different reasons.
