When purchasing a movie from iTunes that says format: widescreen does it play in widescreen on a widescreen TV? Since you can't hook up your TV to your iPod with component cable then I can't imagine it working.

Its widescreen and it will stay widescreen,it may not fit your screen exactly,but it will not switch to fullscreen or anything and ya,you would need a S video cord connected from your computer to your tv...or you could try burning it to a disk and just putting it in your dvd player

i'm not sure. maybe if you have a USB hub on your VCR or DVD player maybe that would work? i have tried that before on my Vidoe Ipod and i don;t think it works>
