I speak nasally most of the time. I need to speak not nasally to get more friends. Any tips on how to speak through your mouth instead of your nose? like say the word "man" while closing your nose, you should sound funny. Why you sound funny? because you are using your nose to say the word. say the word "letter" while closing your nose, if you do not sound funny, that means you are not using your nose to speak words. I said five sentence without the letters "M" nor "N" and I sound funny while closing my nose. Any ideas on how to speak through your mouth? Because I think that's the main reason why I haven't made any friends at all.

If it's causing you such problems, I think you should see an ENT specialist (ear nose and throat). They may recommend you have an adnoidectomy. Normally our adnoids disappear as we get older, but it some people they remain and cause nasal talking. So a simple operation is performed and they remove the adnoid.

You could try a speech therapist.
I don't understand your comment about needing to not speak nasally in order to get more friends. Do you know people in your real life who are not wanting to be your friend just because of the way you speak???? If so, that's totally messed up on their part, and I wouldn't want to be friends with such shallow people. Sorry if you are experiencing this! But, trust me, quality people worth having in your life don't give a hang how you speak. Maybe you should keep your nasally voice so you can weed out the shallow jerks from the good people! :)

You need some Speech therapy or a Voice Coach to help teach you breathing and vocalization. Speak with your Doctor or a counselor ... they should be able to hook you up with a local in your area to help.
