Yeah, I know they are a Christian religion, but are they those people in which females only wear long skirts and cannot cut their hair? If they are, why do they do that?

"Presbyterianism is a form of Protestant Christianity, primarily in the Reformed branch of Christendom, as well as a particular form of church government. Its primary tenets include the Five solas: Scripture alone, faith alone, Christ alone, grace alone, glory to God alone. It is practised by many (although not all) of those Protestant churches which historically subscribed to the teachings of John Calvin (known as Reformed churches). Presbyterianism traces its institutional roots back to the Scottish Reformation, especially as led by John Knox. There are many separate Presbyterian Churches in different nations around the world. Besides national distinctions, Presbyterians also have divided from one another for doctrinal reasons, especially in the wake of the Enlightenment. Theologically, Presbyterianism has a strong emphasis on the sovereignty of God in all things, including human salvation, a high regard for the authority of Scripture, and an emphasis on the necessity of personal conversion by grace through faith in Christ Jesus alone."

The term "Presbyterian" refers not so much to a particular set of doctrines but instead to a particular form of church government. For Presbyterians, their church is governed by a group of elders, or presbyteros. There are teaching elders, who are the ordained ministers, and ruling elders who are elected from the ranks of church members. In each individual church, the elders are invested with supreme authority in all spiritual matters. Presbyterians do not, however, believe that theirs is the "One True Church" or that their system of church government is the only one authorized by the New Testament.

Presbyterians believe that the Bible was "inspired," in the sense that God speaks through human authors and that, because the source is ultimately God, that these scriptures are infallible. As with other Protestant churches, belief and practice are derived from the Bible and not from tradition, which is accorded a very minor role. Presbyterians engage in infant baptism, although they do not believe that a person has to be baptized in order to go to heaven.

The church does not attempt to legislate for its members any personal moral issues - thus, questions about things like birth control and abortion are left up to the individual.

No that's Pentecostals. I'm still learning about the Presbyterian denomination so I can only tell you a couple things. Historically they have been a very conservative denomination. They held/hold to the Westminster Confession of Faith which means they are Calvinist, cessasionist, Reformed theology. Lately the group in charge of the USA had gotten extraordinarily liberal. With such moves as trying to rename the Trinity to things like mother, child, womb. Sorry, that's all i know.

The Presbyterian movement was founded by John Knox who also founded the Church of Scotland. Knox was an understudy of John Calvin. Calvin taught that no one can do good unless God forces them, God preselected who is going to Heaven and Hell, that Christ only died for those people that God preselected for Heaven, God makes getting saved irresistable to those He wants to save, and that those God preselected for Heaven can never be lost.

Like someone already said, Mennonites dress a bit like the pilgrims or like someone from the 19th century. Quakers do so as well. Someone said Pentecostals do this as well. This can't be said of all Pentecostals. Most Oneness Pentecostals have the dress codes and hair length issues. Most but not all. I'm a bit Pentecostal and several who believe like me dress like everybody else. Shorts, pants, no hair rules, we believe in the trinity, etc.

Some independent Baptist churches have the dress code and hair length rules. Some independent Nazarenes as well.

No.
We do not have dress restrictions -we just care that people come.
We have our older people that wear suits and ties. and those (including our musicians) who wear shorts and tee shirts.

There are some groups that have ways you are taliking about, but not Presbytreians.
I have to say I am against those restrictions... I think it gets too much into "rules" and not about God - who gives freedom in these things.
There are people who believe they are following scripture ( I can't get in to all of that here), and on one level I respect that but you have to embrace people too. Read 1 Corinthiaans 9:22. Paul met people where they were at. - like Jesus did.

Presbyterians are not Christians. They don't accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior and they ordain homosexuals into clergy, and they condone homosexual unions. 1Corinthians6:9
