Actually religion is bad. It teaches people to hate, kill, and rape and pillage. The bible is full of atrocities.

Neither religion nor the believers are a joke. You cannot judge a religion or a religious group of people based on the behavior or mistakes of a select few. That would be a generalization. We could probably make a similar generalization about atheists - all are cruel and hateful. It is not true of all atheists though. I am a true believer in the Lord. I have felt His power and presence. I know I will enjoy eternal life in His kingdom. Others may make fun of my belief and call me stupid or brainwashed, but I am firm in what I believe and their opinions will not change that. I agree that we need to accept each other for who we are and not insult each other for our beliefs.

Because they can't see past their own hand. To believe in something is not bad at all. To be spiritual is not bad at all, and to believe in something different than someone else is not bad. People need to open their minds to other cultures and traditions and realize they are not the only ones on the planet. Instead of shoving thoughts down someone's throat, why not say yes, we believe something different, and if you have any questions on what I believe, feel free to contact me. Differences in people is what makes the world go round. If we all believed the same thing, it wouldn't be such a fun place.

Religion gives power to ignorant people. There is no religion in the world (maybe excluding Buddhism) without a fair amount of blood on it's hands. If you want to believe in god, fine. Keep it to yourself. Why do you need an organization like a church to tell you what to believe?

For some only Christianity, Islam and Judaism are religions of the earth......those who are unhappy with religious wars of these religions and talk about "ALL" religions should atleast read about major eastern religions Hinduism (with 1 BILION followers today) and Buddhism (with .6 billion followers). In noway these two major religions creates intolerance, bigotry and prejudice towards other humans.
Instead of hating all religions we all should learn and read about spiritual Hinduism or Buddhism.

religion is not a joke and has never been a joke.christianity is not only a religion but a FAITH. u can never see a christian(xcept fake once which are galready stated in the bible so no matter wat there will always be fake christians cause the devil is never at rest) disturbing other people simply because their belief is different. it is wat u believe dat will work for u dats the fact. so irrespective of ur beliefs, there should be not cause for someone to trample on the other. but one thing i have noticed is dat the muslims are always voilent and in the fore-front of religious crisis

Those of us that know we are right have a responsibility to correct those who we know are wrong. God expects us to act that way. When we run across a person spreading lies, we owe it to God to correct that person in whatever language gets through to him/her. We do offend people, but the Gospel of Jesus Christ is offensive to the sinner. We must get the sinner's attention if we are to correct his thinking and behavior. This is not mind control or some sort of communistic indoctrination type tactic, but a necessary move of the Spirit. God does not desire than any should perish, but that all should come to the glory of Jesus Christ. This is what i believe and I will not change my mission or tactics just to spare the feelings of a person who desires to wallow in self-pity and spiritual poverty. Jesus loves you.

I agree with you. I have my thoughts and I do share what I feel if someone asks me. Also, I respect how they think. Gandhi made a good statement once, he said; "Christians should stop preaching their religion and start living it"! I feel this statement covers many beliefs and decisions people make. We are all different and we all have to make it through life the best we can. I just choose Jesus as my route.

Almost all faiths teach that tolerance is the way. If you read the Bible you will never find a place where Christ condemns someone. He is here to help. Even Islam has a place for other faiths. It is all a matter of who is talking and if they understand both the letter and spirit of the concept.

I agree, many people are hypocrite. They want their faith/religion to be an Absolute Religion or the Ultimate Faith so that they are the only one that are right, righteous, nice, and their religion would be the only one that gets all the charitable donations.
In business, it's called Monopoly. In religious business, it is also monopoly, but it is called "conversion of faith" or "salvation."

Religion is religion. People are people. Some religions are silly. Some people are silly. That's just the way it is. I guess you could say that about anything.
