Drive to a larger town and sell it.
Try getting a second job or going back to school. Your future is what you make it to be.

Don't let it go. If it needs a few touch ups here and there in order for it to sell, keep plugging away at it. Again, no one will buy something or at least pay the selling price for something that needs too much work especially if they feel it isn't worth it. I am in the midst of getting rid of a vehicle that needs a bit of work and I would not let it just sit, it will ruin my credit too. Trust me, been there, done that, do not let anything ruin your credit because it takes forever to build it back up. I wish some one had told me that back then and so now I am paying it forward to you, don't ruin your credit for ANYTHING!!!

Sorry, can't help you there - husband co-signed a car loan for our daughter, turned out she could not pay for it after a few months down the road - so to keep our credit up we took the car and his truck and purchased a new one - yes, letting it go will hurt your credit and all the bank will do is put it up for auction, get what they can out of it, then you will be liable for the difference, that means a lawsuit. Selling it is your best bet!!! Advertise in the paper.

If I were rich, I'd buy it from you cause I need a car! Have you thought about getting another job that will pay enough for your car payment, gasoline and it's maintenance?
Try selling stuff on eBay. Even, sell your car on eBay but be sure you have a "reserve" on it so that you don't sell it for a price much lower than your debt. Click below for the debts.

if you keep it and can't make the payments for it that is worse than giving it back, the only way to let it go without hurting your credit is sell it

One needs to work out their own situations....Rather than looking to another to help one out of an unpleasant situation. it's referred to as dealing with life.
Put an ad on carfinders. Or surrounding newspapers. In the meantime, you may need to take on a 2nd job. Good luck!
