Good point. Its simple. Catholic church is not Gods church on earth and Pope is not Gods representative. THere is more evidence for this than against it. The bible says to test all things and it its not according to Gods word then there is no truth in it

Vicarius Filii Dei. Takes the place or is God on Earth. It is on his crown he wears as well as a lot of other things he carries around. BEing God on Earth, why would he not demand you bow to him? Only question I have had since learning about this is if he is god on Earth, why does he die? God does not die. Only Jesus died and He was God in the flesh so if the Pope is really who he says he is, why does he die?

That is so true! If Jesus himself didnt want people bowing to him why does the pope want that for himself? Maybe cus that religion really doesnt follow what the bible says

2 things
one we are to bow to no man-even daniel refused to bow to the king of the land--Jesus is the only one we are to bow to!!! cause he is God that became man-and was worshipped in the gospels =bowed to
the popes crown is suppose to make him the extention of Jesus and give him the right to superceed the words of Jesus-'if need be' chose you this day whom you will serve--peter in the book of acts -mother in law was sick-he is called the first pope-interesting he was married
yet charismatic catholics pray to come to salvation in Jesus-- so there is a window in the church to Jesus -not salvation in the pope and the church-by baptism.

Because tha catholic church is built on scripture taken out of context, they believe that God built this church on a man.
Why would God have come to earth as a man to do that.
Truely , the church He built was , is, built on the faith amd not the man.
We are worth a Son to God.

Cultures and Societies change over a period of time or they stagnate and die. bowing down to an individual is a sign of respect to the office not necessarily the person. each of us in our own way show respect to others in some form or another who are of higher rank than we are.

Because the Catholic church is so far removed from the early true church it is almost unrecognizable.
