Where does the Bible tell us that we cannot be comfortable with life and still follow Jesus? The Bible tells us to gather together with other believers and worship the Lord. He seeks the worship of true believers. He wants us to worship Him in spirit and truth. Religion is the belief in God. It is not a yoke, but a way of learning more about our Lord and living a life that is pleasing to Him. I belong to a Christian church with no denominational ties. It is supportive of the teachings of Christ and the church leaders are always in search of the truth (in worship and instruction). There is nothing wrong with "religion" for that is how we worship the Lord. I am not tembling in fear, because I know I lead a life that is pleasing to the Lord. I trust in Him and I am not afraid. Jesus did not use scare tactics or threats.

But we can't follow Christ on our own - we need other people to tell us about Him. You would know nothing about the truths of Christ were it not for some mere men named Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, and Paul. Not to mention the countless men and women who preserved the scriptures over the centuries, and translated them into English. You would not know of Christ were it not for your family or friends or whoever it was who preached the good news to you. You would not know scripture if not for the teachers who taught you to read. And so on.
Christianity is not a "just Jesus and me" kind of deal. You are saved as part of a body, as part of the body of Christ, the Church. Belonging to the Church, call it "religion" if you like, is pretty important. Remember that the *Church* is the pillar and foundation of truth (1 Timothy 3:15).

Religion does nothing but confuse people. I follow Jesus, and put my Faith, and Trust in Him. Salvation through the Blood of Jesus is the only way to Heaven. Religion does not take you to Heaven. Follow Christ. He is the only way.

God I'm so happy...You hit the nail right on the head perfect.
Your right no one has the truth. We are not perfect we all sin and fall far short of the truth.
Just do your best in what you believe be kind to all, love your neighbor.
Like your rhyme in a form of that question above.

Another brainwashed cult-boy. Christ is highly overrated, but I do agree that religions are wrong.
