I am in college, and in one of my classes, i sit next to this very attractive girl. Well, she usually does the small talk thing, signalling she is not interested in a relationship. Well, just yesterday in class, all of a sudden she was really nice to me and kept talking to me, so i asked her if she wanted to do this group project with me, and she was really excited that i asked. What does this mean? Does she just want to get the group project done or something more?

well i guess she was tshy hats why she just did the small talk. or she didnt know what to talk to u about and she just got the confidence when she saw that you were interested. i mean thats a possibility. but normally when a girl seems very enthusiastic about working with an attractive guy, its not really about doing the project together lol, its more for the guy...so hopefully something will happen! see how it goes while your doing the project...

Um since when does small talk mean someone isn't interested? Maybe she only wants to get her work done but maybe she kind of likes you to so just give her a try...and btw, try when the project is done because if she turns you down it will be awkward to keep working with her

She was probably being a little leary until she could get a better grip on the person she thinks you are. If you work on a project together and she is interested, the relationship you are seekenf should develop.

She is looking for help in the class, and sees you as that help. She's probably not interested in you personally, but she's reaching out to get this from you. I'd suggest work with her, and during that interaction, if she sees you as someone she'd like to get to know better, you'll pick up on that. But don't expect it. It's like falling in love... you can't force the issue, just go where it takes you.

Take your time. Get to know her as a friend first. You may find that you don't like her in a romantic way after all. If in the end you find that you do then ask her out on a date. If she refuses then you will know to keep her as a friend only. She may have a friend that you prefer to date instead of her.

Sounds like she might be interested in you so see how it goes and don't pressure her to much just have a good time and talk to her.

It seems she is on the rebound. Who cares show her what a great guy you are and take advantage of the situation. Maybe the 2 of you will hook up.
Good luck.
