no, it does not work in Iran. People there have been to scared in the past to complain because of the government there. Also people have to leave if they want to follow a different religion. Of course if you are Muslim but are more liberal in your views then the government then you are a criminal. If a woman wants to work she can but only with the permission of her father or husband? Please give me a break any religion/government to forces oppression on it's people is not working. If you believe it and choose to follow it of your own free will then that is great. But forcing is not.

If you like a dictatorship. I do not want the Federal government dictating every little thing that the State of Texas does. In fact, I do not even want the presence of the Federal government in Texas. I am express the majority few here.

What is the difference between state and government that you are saying should be combined?

What are you talking about? Do you mean a state religion? That would never work here because there are too many religions and denominations within those religions.
