how did it hurt it and how long does it take to get ok credit again?

I had one about 7 years ago, and ended up with another one recently (this summer). :( The other one did hurt the credit rating, but I also had a bankruptcy at the same time, which meant I didn't hae to pay back anything on the car. But, with the recent one, I didn't file bankruptcy. They said that they would contact me about it after it was sold at auction, but they never did. So, I have no idea what has happened. If I were you, I would check your credit after having this done to see what your credit rating is. The higher it is, the better; 850 is the best, I think. And the repo does last on your record for 7-10 years, depending on the state.

WELL IT STUNG A BIT.AND TAKES ABOUT 7 TO 10 YEARS TO BE REMOVED FROM YOUR CREDIT.SOME STATES ARE DIFFERENT.
