How do you deals with the payment of bills and other expenses?

Where do you draw the line though?You can't possibly expect to divide every expense both of you incur 50/50.It's just not possible.

Well Im not sure who makes more but the easiest way is for you guys to keep you separate accounts and then get a joint account for the household (bills, rent, food etc..) and then decide either to split the bills down the line or split it up(example, he gets the rent and you do the cable and food)

Negotiate, negotiate, negotiate. It IS possible to divide bills 50-50. You both put equal amounts of money into a pot or account and use that to pay the common bills.

It is only fair to split the expenses 50 - 50 UNLESS 1 of you make an extremely sick amount of money.

Keep your own separate bank accounts. add up all the household bills. Split them 50/50 and pay them.For example. if your rent equals, all the other bills, then one of you pays the rent and the other one pays the rest. Something like that.

we did half and half, of course if there was a bill that was strictly mine or his like a cell phone bill then him or I paid it occordingly.
Now we're married and he works to pay the bills and I stay home and take care of our daughter, he gives me his paycheck and I go and pay the bills and give him an allowance :-)
