Well basically because there are billions of muslims in the world, many intergrated into western countries. Because Muslims know that western and Christian based countries promote governments of love, peace, fairness, and democracy and tolerance, they know that they can get away with anything and we can't do anything about it that isnt PC.

Pakistan is a muslim country but we have a non muslim person who is in the Supreme Court of Justice.
We also have Parsis (believe in Zoraster) working in the government without being discriminated.

Christians have done all the horrors that Islamists now do. The Christians have had a lot longer to mature. I pray that this same maturity comes to the Moslems a lot sooner than it took the Christians.

No one should have to lick anyone's bottom. However we should be tactful in what we say to one another and realize that everyone's belief system is valid to them. Don't knock it if you don't want to deal with someone bashing yours.
