any time you use any kind of processed tomato product, you should add it before the liquid. this helps cook out some of the acidity. But now, you could try to add a tablespoon or so of sugar, and/or cinnamon (since it is chili) to cut it.

Grate a potato, squeeze out the potato liquid with your hands and put it in the chili to cook few minutes. That should do it. Also works if you add too much salt! Good luck!

When using a large amount of acidic products, it's always recommended to add some sugar to counteract the acid. Not a bunch. Maybe a tsp. to the pot. Works great!!!

you could add some sugar, but not too much. Then add some garlic, red peppers, minced onion, chili powder and let it simmer for a few then it should be fine.

You can either add sugar, white wine, or seriously, buy some stewed tomatoes and use that.
