Your thoughts please regarding Rev 20:11-13, that says God would throw a soul into a lake of fire,

Are non-Christian souls like Kleenex? Use em and throw em away for not having all that lambs blood smeared all over?

God sees the potential in every soul, and gives us the choice to do what's right, whatever that may be. I truly, truly believe that many more people will be going to heaven than some Christians seem to think, because I think there is at least a speck of goodness in 99.99% of people.

Most religions of Christendom think that the "lake of fire" is hell itself, but that can't be, because the book of Revelation chapter 20 verses 13 & 14 says this: "And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death." Hell is cast into the "lake of fire" which means that hell is destroyed or will be no more. What is hell? It is only the common grave of all people who die. Soon death also will be cast into the "lake of fire" or be gone forever, so there will then be no need for graves (hell)-------makes perfect sense.
And when a soul (person) sins, they die and stay sleeping in death until God resurrects them back to life here on earth.
Ezekiel 18:20 states this about a soul: "The soul who sins shall die. The son shall not bear the guilt of the father, nor the father bear the guilt of the son. The righteousness of the righteous shall be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself. "

God does not want anyone to perish or be thrown into the lake of fire, but He is still a just God who must punish sin. The only sin that condems a person to hell is the sin of rejecting Christ as Saviour. People are given the free choice to accept or reject Christ and determine their eternal destiny.

First of all it might help to read and study the whole council of God (the bible). It is not for an imperfection that ones eternal destiny is cast into the lake of fire. It is for rejecting our Creator.

I strongly suggest that if you are concerned about your eternal destiny that you study the bible. You will find out things like:

1 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow about His promise as some count slowness but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance."

God did not create people just to cast them into the lake of fire, He does not want you or any one else to perish.

If you are serious about God's plan for your life and for your eternal destiny, pray and ask for His wisdom to help you understand the bible.

Matthew 7:7 Ask and it shall be given to you seek and you shall find knock and it shall be opened to you.

Hope this helps you, and hope to meet up with you in heaven.

exactly, it is a huge waste, and not what we are destined for. hell and the lake of fire was not even created for people. it was created for the devil and his cohorts.

because of adam we all inherit the propensity to sin and therefore need redemption. God gave that willingly and said all we need to do is accept it and he would give us life now and after we die.
if we do not accept the payment already made for us then we will suffer the same fate as the one we were unwittingly following.
it is not for us to be offended by the cross, but to swallow our pride and become part of the solution instead of the problem by submitting to God, who is not willing that any should perish, but become a part of his plan for redeeming ALL of mankind.

The lake of hearth is an emblem of purging the earth in the course of the great tribulation. John on the e book of revelations had to encode the wording so as that in worry-free words the Christians of his day would understand. He change into in reformatory even as he wrote the e book . If we received't make the excellence to whom ,the authors of the Bible were written, what's being stated , or maybe as it really is being stated. it really is elementary to objective to figure it out with our feeble little human minds about the flaws of God. that isn't what is going to ensue. anybody will be thrown into an portion of torment if the reader won't be able to understand what's meant through the authors of the Bible. It says to, "come across straightforward approaches to prepare yourselves licensed unto God. A workman that desires now to not be ashamed and rightly dividing the note of reality." II Tim. 2 :15 that signifies that what maximum individuals percieve as being the reality received't be directed at them on the right time. it really is the concern with maximum of Christianity today. What God meant for the Jews in His day is being taken through Christians to point that's for them today. it really is merely misunderstood. yet that isn't ensue as you're wondering now. If it did . i doesn't opt to trust it both.

you have the knowledge of Christ and a chance to turn to Him everyday yet your own self is holding you back....the whole world knows of Christ...atleast heard His name once and people all around the world ignore Him and the huge burden of our sins he took on His shoulders....in the bible it says the greastest most loving thing you could ever do is lay down your life for a friend and Jesus has given His life not just for you or for me but for all of humanity. All He wants is your love....that's it....he doesn't ask for anything else....no rules to follow or rituals to perform....He simply asks you to love Him the way He loves you....how can a Father except someone into His house and enjoy his fruit and abundance when He is not loved by that person....you have to want Him...He wants you to realize you need Him...without Him you are nothing....you exist because of Him. IT'S OK IF YOU DON'T READ THIS WHOLE THING, BUT IT IS YOUR PRECIOUS LIFE WE ARE TALKING ABOUT....GOD BE WITH YOU BROTHER ALWAYS....the truth will set you free...your sister -freebird-

Each person has the opportunity in life to know God, repent of their sins and accept Jesus. I get real tired of the responsibility being put on God for a human being's rejection of God.

It is a waste - that's why God sent His Son to try to prevent it from happening. If people will not listen and submit their wills to God, it will happen.

God gave His Son and His book - what more would you want Him to do, take you by the hand and lead you like a little baby?

Why would a soul, after being warned of impending condemnation, ignore that warning and allow himself to be thrown into the lake of fire?
