I can explain the reason for you. People think that by not eating they will lose weight fast. The opposite happens to be true. When you stop eating, your stomach stops working. Your digestion comes to a halt and your body retains any excess fat to keep it going. When you start eating again, your stomach starts working, your digestive acids work overtime and break down the excess fats in your body and you lose weight. This is the reason why when you choose to go on a diet, you MUST eat in order to lose weight. The most important meal is breakfast. If you dont eat breakfast, your stomach only starts working from the first meal you take in the day. Start it working early by eating breakfast and you will lose more weight faster. Eat moderate amounts at other meal times and excercise. Eat nothing between meals and nothing after 7pm. Do this for a month and see how much you lose. Give it a try at least.

Okay I have your problem, and here is some serious answers that I have researched/been told. First of all, still eat healthy, dont stuff yourself silly, and do excercise.
Eat higher calorie fruits and veggies (bananas, carrots, apples basically any fruit and veggie that is not watery.
protein! Eat lean meat, eat peanutbutter, ask your doctor about taking some protein powder, my doc prescribed me some to take, and it actually doesn't taste to bad.
Eat healthy high calorie foods like nuts, legumes, wheat crackers.
Never be plain. Top your toast with maregines made with healthy fats, peanut butter, jelly. add cheese to your scrambled eggs. This will add calories without filling you up. Cook with healthy olive oil and sprinkle it on your saled, add eggs, crackers and other filling stuff to your salads. fill omelets with cheese and veggies. Order creamy soups.
Swich to whole grains, there healthier and more calorie dense. Eat complex carbohydrates, not loads of sugar.
Eat 3 meals and at least 3 snacks.
here are some healthy high calorie snack ideas.
1. plain full fat yogurt and frozen berries blended together and some peanuts mixed, makes a great dip.
2. Cheesy garlic bread made with whole wheat bread.
3.peanut butter on toast with bananas washed down with full fat milk.
4.whole wheat blueberry muffins, or pancakes
5. Pasta!
6. homemade pizza.
Now, If you wanna gain weight but still be healthy do weight training and resistance excercises. Do crunches, and buy hand and ankle weights, and use them. And jump rope too, or swim.remember muscle ways more than fat!

Here is what you need to do, if you are serious about losing weight and keeping it off. Eat 6 small meals a day about every 4 hours. Here what that will do for you, your metabolism will increase (i.e. Loose weight) and you will have more engry. If you go on a diet and eat less, your metabolism will slow down and store to fat. That is why diets dont work. Only the size of your fist, carbs (examples:baked potato, pasta, oatmeal, beans, corn, melon, apples, fat free yogurt, whole wheat breads)in one and protien (examples:chicken breast, swordfish, shrimp, turkey breast) in the other. You can also eat vegetables and salads with any meal, they dont have none or little fat). 30min cardo exercise every day. Any of these(examples: walking, jogging, swimming, running, biking, ect), Monday cardo, tues upper body (arms: curls, tricep extensions, pull ups, front press)(abdominals: leg pull crunch, leg raises), (chest: bench press, butterfly, pullover)(shoulders: front press, arm pullover, cross county skier machine)(back:seated row, lat pull downs, back extension)(YOU DONT HAVE TO DO IN ONE DAY, mix it up) wed cardo, thurs lower body (legs: leg pull, leg press, squats, lounges) fri cardo, sat upper. Sunday eat anything you want and dont exercising, you do this on sunday so your body doesnt go into starvation mode. YOU NEED TO TAKE SUNDAY OFF. If you stilck with this you will have a great body. also drink aleast 8oz of water daily! Stay away from Mcdonals, Wendys, ect because there is nothing good for you on the menu's even the salads are bad (beaon bits, cheeze, dressing, ect) Good Luck :)

You may want to see a Dr. about your weight loss. It could be a very high metabolism or a thyroid problem. If your thyroid is overactive, you will loose a lot of weight, rather than gaining. See a Dr. and have them do lab work on you to see what is going on. Good luck!

Likelihood is you're eating too fast. Try holding a conversation while wearing a meal so you're not really gulping down more than you should feel full.

People who regularly weigh themselves and keep track of their progress in a journal will probably lose weight.
