Because a guy is basically a conqueror at heart, once he has conquered you he needs to move on to something else. Now that may be a hobby, his job or what ever. Treating a woman right is a discipline that most guys don't care about once we've got you. We know how during the 'conquering time' but once past that we move on to conquer other things.
Unfortunately what few guys understand is that by treating a woman with love and respect she is so much more likely to treat us with the same and consider our needs before her own because she has learned that we will do everything in our power to make her happy and secure. When that happens life is good.
Sometimes us guys get demanding of our partner without giving her the love and security she deserves, that is very self centered. Personally I would rather my partner treat me nice because she wants to rather than my demanding said treatment.
Hey guys, once you learn the discipline of loving your partner, you'll find life with her so much more rewarding (in every way). It does take some self discipline but it's worth it. I know some of you guys won't buy into this (I've read some of your comments) and I won't say you're stupid, but I will say you will miss out on a the kind of loving relationship you are meant to have.

If he's still into the relationship it shouldn't be that way. Sounds like it's time for a talk. If you truly love a person, it should grow stronger over time. Maybe it's just gotten a little stagnant. Try to plan something fun for the 2 of you and if he doen't respond I'd think twice about wasting anymore time with him. There is someone out there who knows how to treat a girl right. Don;t put up with being ignored.

Taeya, I want to disagree with you on that. NO, a guy's affection for a gurl doesn't depreciate. Please, I'm a guy and I know what I'm talking about. Whenever such an incidence, the kind of which you're saying, happens, let's ask for the gurl's contributions towars the negative attitude of the guy - I think it's very important, and it may help us to unravel the reason(s) for the change of attitude of the guy in question. Cheers!

There are the exception but alot of guys get bored unless the woman goes out of her way to keep him interested. I know it isn't fair but it happens. Women can always go out and find what they want alot easier then guys can. Plus guys have a tendency to get satisfied with what they have and take advantage of the situation until its gone. Sometimes a little stress in life style can have an affect on emotions to.

No , dear this is not true , the only thing that changes is the style of love through time. After a longer time it changes to a stronger serious relation facing life and daily problems and romance disappears..

its just because a guy thinks that when he has got a girl for sure......then she can't dump him......and he feels a little too safe. Then he takes you for granted as if you are his private property. Same is happening with me....my guy would never call me and would never talk to me like he used to.....never asks me on a date........and all that. Romance is dead........i guess its in the nature of guys.....they are made like that. Even i need some help with this.....i feel so insecure about my bf.

Because men are like Mobile Homes, they depreciate. LOL
No the real reason is because, they think they got you lock stock and barrel. Try not to be so giving, and accommodating to him. And then see how he acts.
Stand off, and see what happens ..

It is because the spark fades and men just get comfortable with routine. You both need to make the effort to keep the relationship going.

that happens because the longer he is with u the more he gets to know you.And you know there are some qualities everyone has that someone might like and someone wont. just give him some time to get used to it and lets hope everything gets just fine.
