Look at this way. You are 30.
100 years ago, 30 was old.
1,000 years ago, 21 was old.
(and THAT is scary!)
Thanks to living TODAY, you probably will live to at LEAST 85.
Possibly 90, 100, or older.
That is a very LONG time ahead of you.
I read about a guy in England who is 100 years old, still working!
The biggest worry most people have is about their future. A lot of unknowns.
Here is what to do; WRITE DOWN what you want the rest of your life to be. In detail. Constantly keep adding to it, correcting it, subtracting things from it. MAKE your future as YOU want it. Not what others want it to be. Be sure to write down all your goals. Big and small. Throw in goals that are almost impossible to reach. Who knows, you may achieve them! Be sure to include your health and exactly how many years you want to live.
Hope this helps.

Why is it a difficult birthday for you...?...Thirty something....?...you should start by counting your blessings that you made it this far....AS SOME DO NOT....if it is because you are sad about how your life has been or how it is today then you are not being grateful for the life you have....Many have friends, relatives, aunts ,uncles, children,(WELL YOU FET THE PICTURE)...LOVED ONES who didn't make it as far as you have.....So may I suggest, make the best of this birthday by Thanking God you are here to live it and remember .....EVERY DAY is A NEW DAY to begin a new way....Make this your "Best Birthday".....and be "THANKFUL" for it.....When we are thankful and grateful for ALL we have.....More is added above and beyond what we even comprehend to be so....So give yourself a gift ....and ENJOY THIS DAY .....Grateful for ALL THAT COMES in it.....and you will see a better perspective.....of what is and what could be....."A HAPPY BIRTHDAY".....to you....from me !!!

I heard on the news the other day about a woman who was turning 100 years old. Someone asked her what was the best thing about being 100? She replied, "No peer pressure." I am 56 years old and very happy about it. Forties was a great decade, too. Enjoy your life and quite wasting it by worrying about age. It is not important.

Hey, relax! I'm 42, and enjoying it.
Seriously, there is no reason to freak out over birthdays. Go out shopping, or treat yourself to a meal at your favorite restaurant! Indulge in a nice, long, soaking bubble bath! Put on some music and dance! Enjoy life!
And Happy Birthday!

You turned thirty something today, you should be having fun, it's your birthday it only comes around once a year if you miss this one then you'll have to wait a whole year for another one.
So you turned thirty something today, so what? you only go around once, just have fun.

The older you get, the better you are! Thirty something is not old, it's a number. You will always be YOU, no matter what age...

Just think there is always someone older than you, or you could be 31! You cant change it anyway so try to make the best of it, and I am sure you have heard it a thousand times but its true "your only as old you feel"!!

Think about where you were in your life 10 years ago....Are you better or worse?
Personally...I'm in my late 20's...but to think back where I was 10 years ago, I've grown so much! I'm a strong, confident woman now. Think of all those horrible insecurities you had back then...ugh!
Be happy with who you are...embrace it. Hell, look at all those 40+ movie stars out there...looking hotter than ever!
...and most of all, I hope you have a very happy birthday!

Happy birthday!
Look back, congratulate yourself on your accomplishments.
Look ahead, set some goals, things to do, places to see before 40, write them down.
Treat yourself to a massage, a facial, a pedicure.
Have nice dinner. Enjoy the moment!
Love all you can.
Let your light shine.
