the chances are a local distribution box has gone down (if it is cable) if you are not the only one affected-if its more major than this (say a transmitter) the tv companies would be aware of this and it would be dealt with swiftly. contact your cable supplier or the local television station-they ought to be able to help.-i also live in the uk so have encountered problems similar to this in the past.

Is it just you or are your neighbours suffering as well. It could be your tele has conked, or it needs re tuning, or the aerial has blown down, if it was a transmitter problem you would have heard about it. To many angles to go into, ask a neighbour first,.

ask the others who they are calling.....or, get someone who sees to ariels on the roof to come and take a look, they may be able to tell you who can help if they cannot....good luck......it`s ok without a tv for a bit but, this has been a while now!!

try the TV companies themselves, they should know who to complain to....
Terrestial broadcasting is governed by a state run Quango, forget its name, but they proabably dont care too much about deailing with consumers of their product, but will be hacked off if their customers (broadcasters) are peed off
