My microwave is broken and I don't have a stove... I REALLY want an egg omelet. Could I put it in a plastic bag or tuperware or something and put it in my dryer on high? How long do I need to leave it in there? Thanks

Yes....be sure to put your clothes in there as well as the eggs. That way they will have cushion. 60 minutes will cook them good.

In theory, if you used a metal pan, you might be able to cook eggs in your dryer. But I don't recommend it.
I do second the suggestion that you get some kind of electric skillet or hot plate to cook on. Or else, replace the microwave.
Good luck!

YES, there is actually a reicipe called Ziplock Omelet.
But you boil the ziplock bag for 13 minutes, So, I don't
see why you couldn't put it on the rack in your drier. may
take slightly longer. Try it. Almost forgot to mention that
recipe intructs that you remove as much air as possible
from ziplock bag before cooking. Good luck, would be
curious to know if it worked for you.

Plastic bag or tupperware would probably melt... plus the tumbling would make a souffle... I guess if you wanted an omlet that bad, there's always Denny's....

Wow sounds interesting, i would definently try it! tell me how it turns out! and i would put some clothes in it to cushin it, it might also cook it quicker because there would be warm clothes around it. I would put it in for around 45 minutes to an hour.

Depends if you like a scrambled omelet, and if you want to clean up the mess afterwards.

Go to Dennys and eat. It will be cheaper than cleaning the mess in your dryer.

Yeah, Right!!
The Waffle House would be better; but if you want to do it in the dryer, go for it. LOL,LOL

Possibly in a pot (or pan) with a lid held down, but it's got to be a metal pot, NOT plastic.
