I have been trying to talk to this girl who is a bartender She seems to approach me and talk to me more when I am not at the counter. She says she is not interested in money and looks offended when I tip her, I tip her the same as the other bartenders, I buy her a drink occasionally. Am I offending her by tipping her. Usually 2 or 3 dollars a drink sometimes I throw in a five. I never really paid that much attention, but have noticed a difference in attitude.

Ask her away from the counter if it bothers her. If it does, tip her a lower percentage. I try to always tip 20%.
Also, ask her on a date. Then you can spend as much money on her as you want, and you can get to know her better.

If she's said she doesn't want the money, you probably shouldn't tip her. Instead, if you want to talk to her, leave a phone number or a flower, or some little trinket instead.
