Granted he is fronting for people worse than he is, but this evil little man wants to expose our military and citizens abroad to the same treatment, but also it means that all those that espouse and promote torture could/should be subject to arrest and prosecution in foreign countries. Kissinger faces prosecution already in some countries. You can bet our " leaders " can be prosecuted for war crimes later down the road as well.

Our military has ALWAYS been subjected to illegal and unjust torture as prisoners of war. Do you really think that our enemies give one good hoot about what's legal or illegal when it comes to their prisoners? Look at the way they blatantly kill and maim innocent civilians now. If they do that out in the open, are you really that stupid to think they would treat any prisoners they had humanely? I suggest that you cower in the corner and take care of yourself and let "THOSE THAT ESPOUSE AND PROMOTE TORTURE" take care of themselves. All president Bush is wanting is clarification on what is torture and what is not. That way, we would know if and when we were breaking international law. In other words, is playing music by the "Red Hot Chili Peppers" very loud, in a very cold room where prisoners are confined torture? Is sleep deprivation torture? Is very long periods of questioning under bright lights torture? OR is pulling out the fingernails and toenails one by one torture? Is breaking bones in a vise torture? Is plucking a person's eye out while he is conscious torture? Notice the two groups in the question above? If you could pick one group as torture and the other group as POSITIVE ENTICEMENT which would you pick for what category?

There are other things that are questionable and need clarification. For example, to threaten and frighten a prisoner but not actually perform the threat on them-is that torture? To call them names and insult their religion and beliefs, is that torture? To lie to them in such a manner to get a confession or admission-is that torture? There are many degrees of coertion & it is logical for GW to want clarification. Comprendo?

Gee planksheers, I guess GWB should begin to worry, once we turn over Kessinger to those who wish to prosecute.

Say, are you a cousin of ERUDITE? Your dumb @ss questions would certainly indicate that, or are you just a 'hillary for any job representative?'

Those people abroad, certainly should understand the dangers that they take when traveling during war time, but I sure the don't believe GWB should be taking them into account when making policy decisions, regarding the enemies of the US.

There are those of us who would point a finger right straight at your @ss, and say, 'here is a real enemy of this country, maybe it's time we let him know how we feel?'

To add insult to injury, some torture experts are independent contractors from Israel. Wouldn't you like five figure an hour job to demonstrate something you have been doing to Palestians for 40 years. Made up figures on pay. You can say anything because that is one figure that will never get revealed.

Your political views aside........Bush has stated that what is going on is within Geneva Convention Statues. Since, its secret....neither you nor I know what is really going on. So, your insistence that he is torturing people is baseless, unless you have some inside info that you shouldn't!

As for exposing our troops to torture? Seriously, where have you been? Are you blind?!?!?!?! How many people have been tortured....on tape....by our enemies.

This assertion of your simply proves that youdo not have an objective opinion....you simply have an agenda! Oops! There goes my ten points!

Because he values the lives of Americans higher than those of terrorist Shiite birds. Dems on the other hand, value the lives of terrorist shiite birds higher than the lives of Americans. In case you havent noticed, we are in a war which aims for our annhilation as a people.

If intelligence gleamed from electrocuting one terrorist Shiite birds genitals can save ONE American Life, then there is just one thing you have to know. Red is positive, Black is negative.

I value the lives of fellow americans higher than those who fly planes into our buildings. so should every american.

He is not.He wants clarification of article three.in particular (1)cruel treatment(2)outrages upon personal dignity, in particular humiliating and degrading treatment.
Without clarification our personal could be liable if they call some one a name while interrogating them.
None of our enemies since WWII have followed the convention and the terrorists have never consented to it..

And your proof he is a true Christian. His warlike ways look more Islamic to me. Maybe he is a secret mullah and is fighting a war of orthodoxy against the perverters of the Islamic faith.

Christians should not judge others. So I won't. I will say one's actions defines one's self.

But ,I will say you do not see us kidnapping people and hacking their heads off with machettees and putting the films on the internet. Nor do you see us strapping on bombs or filling a car with explosives and pulling up to a cafe and even killing our own in the process.
