No, it's not. You can't be the native people of a country if your ethnic group immagrated into it. That's how being Native works. If your Ethnic group conquers and destroys the Natives then you become the natives by defacto since there's nobody else around to say otherwise, if you let them live you're an Immagrant people. The better question might be why do you care? Being Native just means you didn't have the wherewithall to get off your a$$ and go somewhere. It doesn't connote anything more than first dibs on a things and after 440 years first dibs doesn't mean a lot.

You guys are confusing American Citizen with Native Americans. Doesn't matter how many years you family has lived in the US. If they immigrated here then the most they will ever become is American Citizens. The same rank legal immigrants get for passing their citizenship test and have only been in this country for say 10 years.
The term "true american" I think is more of a patriotic title than an ethnic one anyway.

I think that native Americans are ones who came to America before and at the American civil war. But actually, there is no native Americans, because these are who I am talking about are Britons who established 13 colonies at the Eastern coast of America then continued slaughtering the red Indians (natives) to seize the land. Then America was united (north and south).
From my point of view I think that "native Americans" must allow people from all around the world to become citizens in a hopeful attempt to ask Lord to forgive their forefathers who made crimes against humanity.

It doesnt make much sense, since it wasnt "America" until it was conquered. Just like it wasnt "Mexico" until it was conquered. We cant go back in time like that and say that we all have to move as a sort of payment to Native people, since the natives that are here now are not the same people and the whites that are here now are not the same ones that conquered years ago.

Your ancestors stole this land. You can call yourself an American, but you shouldn't be judgemental to new immigrants who at least didn't commit GENOCIDE, unlike your ancestors! We are civilized people, coming for a better life. Nothing more, nothing less. If we could do it legally, we would.
This is a country of immigrants, if it wasn't you wouldn't be here at all.

If the Government indeed did that - all Americans would get their guns and go to Washington DC...
It would not be pleasant - so I don't think we have anything t worry about.

I don't know where you keep hearing that, but I wouldn't get my bunnies in an uproar about it. People love to apply labels and it will never stop. There's no reason why you have to accept what other people say is there?
