I pay my babysitter $5.00 an hour for one child. The average for 2 children is $8-10 per hour. Since you have no money and you both have children maybe you can work out a barter agreement. maybe you can take her children one day a week when you're off or help with getting them to and from school. Also look into social services. There are programs available that help working parents pay for childcare. Your friend may have to fill out some paperwork to be paid but it would be worth it for her.

I have a 3year old and a 7 month old, and I work 8:00am-5:00pm and I pay my babysitter $100.00 aweek if I can if not she waits every two weeks. If she is coming into your home and keeping them there, that is a good pay if she is keeping in her home you might think a liitle more would be nice to cover food and things. Just sit down with her and talk let her know how your money is and she will be open and tell you if it's to much or to less.

My Mother owns a daycare and everyone says that she is the cheapest out of every other center they've tried. Her rate is $75.00 per week or $150.00 bi-weekly! This is per child! You have to keep in mind that a 1yr. old can be a hand full also! So it's not bad! But if you can't afford $300.00 bi-weekly for two kids maybe she'll work out some kinda of plan like $200.00-225.00 or something!

Remember its 2 kids , you cannot give her chump change. If you don't have the money to pay her then you should find family who would. I would say that $120 a week for 2 kids is fair. She'll be watching them overnight I assume she will be feeding them as well , if food isn't included I say 100 week

For two kids, I'd say 8 or 7 dollars an hour is suitable. Maybe 10 if you have the money.

i pay $2 an hour for each child . Which will be about $28 -$32 a day. Isn't there any group agency that help pay for babysitting. You should look into it.

I used to get $5/child. That is fair.
So, you would pay her appox $70 for 7 hours.
