This may be normal for you since your mom is slim and you are so young. Don't overeat or eat bad foods or you may gain too much unhealthy weight ie., fat instead of muscle. Just keep eating a healthy diet and eventually, your body will achieve the balance it needs for you--it happened to my kids.

Since you said that you eat like crazy, and you STILL don't gain weight, AND it seems like you're not interested in gaining weight, I'd say it's healthy for you. Just make sure you don't eat too much junk because even a skinny person can develop heart/cholsterol problems.

My boyfriend is 6'3 but only 130 lbs. Fast metabolism.

People who tell you you're anorexic either don't know you and are just showing concern or those who DO know you (and your eating habits) are just jealous. They're taking advantage of the whole "anorexia is bad" (which it is) and pinning it on you because they wished they looked like you.

Be happy and healthy :)

Okay I have your problem, and here is some serious answers that I have researched/been told. First of all, still eat healthy, dont stuff yourself silly, and do excercise.

Eat higher calorie fruits and veggies (bananas, carrots, apples basically any fruit and veggie that is not watery.

protein! Eat lean meat, eat peanutbutter, ask your doctor about taking some protein powder, my doc prescribed me some to take, and it actually doesn't taste to bad.

Eat healthy high calorie foods like nuts, legumes, wheat crackers.

Never be plain. Top your toast with maregines made with healthy fats, peanut butter, jelly. add cheese to your scrambled eggs. This will add calories without filling you up. Cook with healthy olive oil and sprinkle it on your saled, add eggs, crackers and other filling stuff to your salads. fill omelets with cheese and veggies. Order creamy soups.

Swich to whole grains, there healthier and more calorie dense. Eat complex carbohydrates, not loads of sugar.

Eat 3 meals and at least 3 snacks.

here are some healthy high calorie snack ideas.

1. plain full fat yogurt and frozen berries blended together and some peanuts mixed, makes a great dip.

2. Cheesy garlic bread made with whole wheat bread.

3.peanut butter on toast with bananas washed down with full fat milk.

4.whole wheat blueberry muffins, or pancakes

5. Pasta!

6. homemade pizza.

Now, If you wanna gain weight but still be healthy do weight training and resistance excercises. Do crunches, and buy hand and ankle weights, and use them. And jump rope too, or swim.remember muscle ways more than fat!

I am the same way, only a a lot taller. It's just the way your body works. Your body's metabolism is just faster than normal, which most peole would kill for when they get older. If you wnat to gain a few pounds, do some light weight lifting because muscle weighs more than fat.

Its probably a thyroid problem that everyone in your family has... or something like that.

Its not possible for you to have the muscle tone needed for life, and the fat needed for nurotransmission, plus needed fluids and bone density, and be that weight.

Aparently something isnt right. Go find out why you cant gain weight. Its normal for teenagers to have a high metabolism, but thats just insane.

Your weight is a just a number, but you may want to ask your family doctor to make some tests just to make sure you're getting all the nutrition you need. If you eat more pizza you might gain weight, but you won't be healthy.

Try some protein shakes if you want to gain weight some protein mass. Just eating a lot of fat will do you no good. Exercise and build up muscle, that way even if you look skinny, you will be very fit.

You dont need to gain weight, dont eat too much or this could become an unhealthy habit. You sound healthy to me. I know how you feel I am very thin and people always tell me "You gotta get some meat on those bones" but just brush it aside. Its ok.

Your mom sounds like a tall, slim woman. And it sounds like you've got an EXTREMELY revved up metabolism: You are very thin.

Have you tried protien drinks such as some of those you might find in a health food or nutrition store?

Good luck!
