The PGA? You mean that same PGA with those Woods, Mickleson, Singh, Els, Goosen, Love III, Montgomerie, Alazable guys? THAT PGA? Uh, let me think...NO!

Miss Wie seriously needs to slow her road. She has yet to even make real noise in the LPGA against the women. When will she learn she is still wet behind the ears and will have to do some winning on the women's circuit before she can even have a ghost of a chance against the men. Look at Annika Sorenstam. How long was she a winner amongst the women before she even entertained the notion of playing with the men? Annika earned that right. Michelle Wie has earned nothing, and won't until she can win amongst her peers.

yes after taking anabolic steriods for a good period of time. grow hair under her nose and kill all the other female things in her. Go outside drop a golf ball down in 4 inch high grass and hit it out and it go somewhere besides a low dribbler. God made men and women different on purpose. If u dont have the strength to play out of high rough. Then u will never make it in mens golf. I like to watch the ladies play on their tour. They hit great shots and can beat most men from about 6500 yards. The PGA tour plays course's that average 7200 yds. Take 700 yds and divide it by 18. That is 38.88 yds. or 4 clubs difference. Now if someone hits a 7 iron and the other person hits a 3 or 4 iron. Then in the long run. Which is what counts. The whole 4 days of play. The whole year of play. Who is going to come out on top. Come on people have some common sense. Her parents just are using her to make money. I feel sorry for her. Dang tell her to get a boyfriend.

I agree that she should wait. I am here at the 84 Lumber Classic, and the questions on whether she should have played are plentiful.

The link below has the opinions I shared 5 months ago about her chances of making the cut here in Pennsylvania. As a Michelle Wie fan, I don't like the fact that I was right.

Personally I think she will burn out early and never achieve female Tiger status. Pushed to hard, to early and currently learning to be a loser. If she does get a PGA tour card some day I think she will be mediocre at best.

She could probably dominate the LPGA in 2-3 years, but nothing about her game (distance, putting, irons) indicates that she has any special PGA-level talent.

No, not as a regular. You have to make it through "Q school" to be a regular member of the PGA. She'd never make it through.

She should go back to school until she's 18, keep playing amateurs and learn how to putt!!!! Then try to make it on the LPGA first, be competitive and win something.

Her parents are going to screw her up, she might have the physical skills, but golf is mostly a mental sport, and her head is already screwed up.

I think she is a phenomenal talent, remember she is 16 years old! However, she should rise to the top of her sport first before trying to make the jump from her side to the men's side - I think she will eventually make the cut on some tournament but by then, we'll all be like "It's about time! It only took her 50 tries!" - I think she's encouraging the public to shut her down in a way and any accomplishments she does achieve will be tarnished because of all of her butchered attempts

nicely i imagine she has plenty to attain and lose by employing taking section in. If she a minimum of makes the decrease, she will be in a position to make history because the first woman to make the decrease on the grounds that 1946, she will be in a position to attain extra understand from her followers, and get a paycheck. If she doesnt make the decrease her critics will proceed to triumph over her up, her self belief hostile to the adult men will drop even extra, making her objectives unrealistic, regardless of if she makes the decrease it wont be that staggering because the accurate gamers wont be there. i ask your self if she realizes that the human beings on the Reno-Tahoe open are in basic terms employing her as a publicity stunt for rankings and interest. the authentic golfers are going to be taking section in on the international golf Championships, making this experience only a step above the nationwide excursion.

No way, while I agree that women should compete with the men, Wie has no chance of ever making the cut with the big boys, right now its just a dream of hers, she should just give up, and let Anna try her luck.
