i wonder about this myself, been in many debates with my mom (the christian fundie) over this subject. to me it seems primitive to explain an occurance in the universe as "god made it". most people say great god will come from the sky, take away everything and make everybody feel high. (thanx bob marley)
why would a god create something just to destroy it?

Not everything that is natural and complex requires a designer. There does not have to be a creator. If there is not an explanation for them then they just fall into the category of the unknown. The unknown may remain unknown or given time and technology an answer may be found as to why things happen the way they do.
I think accepting unknowns make a lot of people uncomfortable. They feel they need to have a definitive answer as to the 'whys' so they find a way to make it fit into whatever beliefs they hold.
As for myself, I'm comfortable with the unknown because it just adds to the mystery of life.

I don't say there MUST be a god, I say I choose to believe there is a god. I don't know if I will always believe it, but for now I do. No one can prove there is or isn't. It's all about what you believe. Therefore no one can be right or wrong, dumb or stupid. It's all subjective. If you believe that you are right and everyone else is stupid, can you prove it? What does not make sense to me is belief in the Bible and established religion. But with my nugget of intelligence, a creator makes sense.

It's not that "things seem" designed--they clearly are designed. And that means it is a logical necessity that there is a Designer.
The scientific evidence points to a beginning and what is the next logical step? Either it was caused or uncaused. If someone believes that it was uncaused--that with no force, no energy, and no intelligence, matter just 'popped' into existence that person has more faith than I have.

Don't be deceive Pal; there is.....plenty of evidence AGAINST EVOLUTION:.
First, the 'Cambrian explosion'; the millions of fossil types in Cambrian rock (oldest fossil bearing rocks) appear suddenly and fully formed and without any previous forms...IOW, there are no transitional forms.
Most well educated evolutionists when forced to ...will admit it, but very unwillingly, and even then they always want to seem to make new excuses for it. Usually they just don't say anything about it and hope noone finds out.
Jesus said:
"From the beginning of the Creation God made them male and female..." (Mk. 10:6)

I remember commenting on the blog you had about this, I think we have a purpose as human beings to love, and for me that means it's God's purpose, but for others it may mean something else. But I think we all have a purpose.

confusion is alway within a person thoughts, but with confidence he will stand and believe that he is one of the gods.
where he ask of no questions as he know of the answer in himself of which he wish to know.
invincible as he will be for he who have no need, with the significance of life he stood tall before other.
