Has anubody had any dealings with a firm called CapQuest , they deal with student loans etc , would appreciate anything from any one on these people , just had a brush with them and find them very imitmidating !!!

Some one took out a credit card with my personal details and cap-quest bought the debt from the bank and started to harass me... These people are extremely stupid and arrogant. I took the whole matter to the police and let them sort it out. Don't be intimidated and do not under any circumstances admit to owning anything e.g a car or anything else as they will try to take it.

They bought an outdated Student Loan (over 10 years old) and tried to get the money back from me.
Since the original loan I've moved several times and the debt is over 20 years old.
I've requested information from them as a Subject Data request twice, but all I got was an automated answer.
Just reminded them of the request, pointing out it's over the 40 day limit. Cc'd the ICO in the email. Let's see what happens when a Govt office reminds them of the legal reponsibilities!

you have checked your rights yeah?
never let them in your property
you dont have to speak to them either
if they do not move then call the police
