I have a date with this guy tonight but I dont feel
attracted to him. He really likes me. How do I break it off?

Don't lead him on by going on the date. Tell him that you like him as a friend and don't foresee it going any further. I warn you though that this might be one of the "good" ones that single women often see as being taken. Think about what it is you want in a relationship and weigh the potential there. If all you want is attraction and fireworks then that's all you will ever have. Try to search beyond. Also, a date doesn't often mean marriage but is a step to getting to know someone. Don't sleep with him. You might find you have a great time. If you don't then thank him and tell him that you'd like to remain friends. Hesitation can only mean you don't want to mess up an opportunity to call on him whenever you don't have a better offer . Is that how you would like to be treated?

Don't lead him on. If you want to, go to the date and just try to have fun, even if there is no attraction. But don't lead him on. Give him a chance, but if you really don't like him, don't say yes to him again. Say you had a fun time --which hopefully, you will-- but try to make it clear that you really don't want to be more than friends.

Don't hurt this poor guy. Give him a chance. Maybe bring another gf along. The next time ignore his call. Tell him you already have another.

why did you say yes? i think you should go and see ... sometimes the best relationships come out of this ... you said yes for a reason, why not go and make the best of it and if he asks again, be honest and say no thank you.
