i've known this girl for 3 years. She's not only smokin' hot but sweet, caring, decent and isn't afraid of getting dirty (extreme sports, car racing, horseback riding, yes, she's cool). Thing is when i was just about to make my move with her, she starts falling for a guy who's the contrary of all she's said she liked. He's skinny, ugly and nerdy, whereas i am the contrary, so question is, should i make my move even if i know she's fallen for that dork or should i wait ?

maybe she was waiting for you to make your move and since you didn't she went to someone else, do you like her enough to keep a relationship or does this guy just pose a threat?? if you like her then show her, tell her do something to make it known ... if she rejects you than be her friend and maybe she'll start seeing you in a new light.

Let's see. She likes this "skinny, ugly, nerdy dork" better than you, so you think something must be wrong with her? You may want to stop and figure out what's wrong with you instead.

I know you're ticked off at the moment, but it sure sounds to me like you have an attitude problem in general. Chances are the dork is a nice guy. I suspect he's a better listener than you.

Anyway, if you want her, I recommend waiting until this other relationship is over. You'll have a much better shot then.

Make your move! What are you waiting for, Nerdy Boy's approval? Look -- nothing's more flattering to a woman than finding out a guy's hot for them. Nothing. Don't put her under pressure or start stalking her or anything, just tell her you think she's the greatest and let her soak in the compliment. Don't ask her for anything in return. If she feels the same about you, then it looks like nerdy boy's game is over and you win. If she doesn't feel the same about you, at the very least you can rest assured she will be very flattered, and you will have had your chance.

it's been 3 years what's a little more time. she has to know that you like her. she may just be scared of messing up your friendship. it can work though. and you can still be friends even if you don't work romantically. maybe she is trying to make you jealous (not in a mean way). you just have to show her your best side and let her see you how you want her to without directly saying it. when she dumps him make your move. it's never nice to try something when she's with someone else. she will come around and you will find out if she was worth the wait.

Women are crazy. But, go ahead and make your move on this one youhave nothing to lose.

The best thing is that there are plenty of them. So if this broad has gone for the dork, move on to the next hot funny chick. If you're what you say you are it shouldn't be hard to find one.

You should make a move, or tell her how you feel. If she knows this she might look at the other guy a differetn way, and look at you as boyfriend material!
If this guy is her total opposite of what she is attracted to, then it will not work out. So when she realizes this you can be there for her. I hope this works out for you, good luck!

I think you should make a move. Sometimes women are so starved for affection and attention, if they don't get it from the type of guy they desire, they will settle for a guy who's willing to give it but not necessarily their ideal. Who knows, maybe she's been waiting for you to make your move for a long time and she got tired of waiting. Go for it! What do you have to lose??

You could make your move but if she's fallen for someone else, then you're likely to not only waste your move but ruin it for the future.

Why not wait and see how this relationship pans out and, if it breaks up, then make your move.

Yes make your move! He made the move first that's how he got her. You still have a chance, go for it if you want her. It's never too late if she's not married.
