Ok, so i went on my date to this school thing and it went so wrong!!!!!! (crying)......why?....... Ok, this is what happend... it was 6th, 7th, and 8 graders attending. So i went with a friend their and i saw my date!!! His name is Matthew and he is so much perfact then i am! He's im my homeroom and by my locker and im my science class!!! The place where everyone went was a community thing . It had two sides..... on one side it had basket ball and on the other it had.... dancing with a dj and stuff! omg it went so wrong! I meet up with him and my friends... then we where supposed to dance but i couldn't!! Why didn't i dance!? I was so worried my face got as red as a cherry! I kept on going to the bathroom to see if it gotten better! (yeah right) So we went upstairs and got a pop and then went downstaris and i kept on trying to get away from him! It was crazy! We didn't have anything to talk about and i thought by then he would HATE me! Untill we got to talk and got to know each other.

...That sounds like a classic first date especially if you are in grade 6,7,or 8.
My first date was to meet the boy and his friends and I was with my friends...it was at the mall strip. So it was all awkward and so we agreed to meet at the bus stop at 4:00 (to leave but I knew it was maybe to kiss) ... we went our separate ways except we would see each other that day from a distance and wave or act like we did not see each other. Well I got scared and left on the 3:15 bus.
So at least you got a soda pop with him. It is good to feel embarrassed or scared , if you do not then there are no butterflies and no reason to be a teen.
BUT NEVER THINK THAT A BOY IS BETTER THEN YOU "more perfect" or anything. That kind of thinking can be changed and it destroyed my life. That is a different story. Good Luck he does not hate you for sure and he was nervous too.. that is a fact.

Honey, it will not be the only horrible first date that you will have in your whole life. I'm sure that as you get older worse things will happen to you. We've all been there. Maybe you were just nervous because you really liked the guy and all and if you guys talked again then it must mean that he liked you. Just tell him that you were a little nervous and that's it. Maybe because there were so many people around you that could have affected your nervousness also.Maybe next time you two hang out you can suggest a movie or dinner or somethin. Good luck!!!

If it were the opposite and he that turned red and gooey you would probably just think he really liked you and was nervous.Just be yourself cuz if it is meant to be it will be.If not you do don't wanna get hooked up with someone you don't relate to just because he's cute. About the music, so what, You should think more on like what kind of future he wants, if he is nice to old people and animals, what his values and morals are.If you share the same goals.Practice looking for the right kinda guy so when your old enough to make the life long decision it'll work out for the long run.Good luck!!

The more dates you go on the less nervous you will be. Just try to stay calm and be yourself. Be natural. Realize that you are not as bad as you think and someday someone will really fall in love with you. Think of the boy as a friend. Build a relationship from that starting point. You didn't dance because you were too nervous. Try practicing dancing at home to music. Good luck!

But you *do* have something to talk about with him now! At your first opportunity to talk to him, tell him hi. Ask him if he thought the community thing was cool. Ask him why did he he think it was cool or not cool. Tell him what you thought of it. Hey presto you might have a little conversation. Before it falls flat, give a cheery "ok see ya later!" and leave him alone. Next time you see him, just say hi to show him you see him, it's only polite! good luck.

Why would you think he is more perfect than you? That is totally wrong, he's being the turd here, not you.
Nobody is more perfect than you are. Don't judge yourself on what someone else may think or say about you. You are who and what you are. He sounds like a selfish twit. You sure don't need someone like that in your life. Find new friends. Good luck.

What you just went through a lot of girls go through, you're not the only one and I am sure he'll talk to you.
It still happens to me when I see a man who I'm attracted too I get tongue tight and blabber like a sreaming idiot.

1st off hes not perfect and as soon as you realize that it will make your life easier...just go to him on monday and tell him that you are sorry that you werent a very good date and that you were really nervous..tell that you werent trying to be rude or dump him and that if hes still interested then you are too...and remember that he is probably nervous too...good luck...
