If you read Psalms 119:164 it reads, Seven times a day do I praise thee because of thy righteous judgments.
But that praise may not always be considered as prayer.
Prayer is a personal relationship Between God (Jesus) and the individual. Some pray hours at a time-intercessory prayer-other pray two or three times daily. Its totally Between the individual and God about communications. It is dependent upon the individual believer's walk with God.

There is no set number of times that a Christian prays in one day. Most Christians I know, pray more than 5 times a day, but that is my family and close contacts. I'm sure you will get many different answers. Grace and Peace

when Christians pray, it's a way of talking to God. There's no limit to how many times we pray each day. Wouldn't it be silly to talk to your mother for only 3 or 4 times a day? That's how it is with Christians. We believe that there's no such thing as a number of times to pray each day. But don't be offended because you have your own "religion".

A couple of answers on that one...

No, there is no set number.

Regarding the praying without ceasing... your relationship with God is to be a close relationship that would bring everything to Him in prayer. And that's what I try to do. I don't get all high and mighty about prayer times...they aren't formal "Oh Dear God, Almighty Father in Heaven..." Not that I don't FORMALLY pray at times....
but, I talk to Him as if I would to a friend. Discussing my hopes, fears, concerns...and ALWAYS my thanks and praise. But openly and honestly..throughout the entire day. The more you do it (and at times I need to remind myself of it- because I get too self-centered), the more natural a thing it becomes.

There isn't a set number. I pray first thing in the morning, and later in the evening. I pray also as things happen during the day and when the lord wants me to.

A Christian should pray to the Lord as though he were talking to his best friend and this is exactly what he/she is doing. Talking in prayer to Almighty God whos' name is definitely Jesus. You either believe He is who He said He is (God and King of Heaven and earth) or you believe He is a liar. Jesus is indeed Almighty God.
Muslims worship allar who they claim to be the only god. If you read the koran / quaran, you will discover that the muslim god is Satan himself. Islam is a religion of absolute intolerance and hatred. The muslims hate the jews and have two desperate desires, to push Israel into the sea to total destruction and to rule the entire world. Muslims HATE Christians and will not accept the Australian way of life. If a muslim says he accepts the Australian culture and laws he is lying. Christ is alive, mohommad is dead. Dont be decieved by the muslims soft words.
