I believe there may be something in the New Testament concerning how long it took Noah to build the Ark, but I'm not sure. I've heard the number 30 years tossed around, but I can not find any evidence of this number in The Scriptures.....

Nope, scripture does not say how long it took Noah to build ark.
But 100 years is close. Check scripture for Noah's age and his sons when he began ark and then his death age after the flood. Died at age 950 (350 after flood)
His Grandpa was Methuselah. He lived 187 years, begat Lamech, then died after another 782 years. Died age 969 (oldest man ever to live). Methuselah's son
Lamech lived 182 years, begat Noah, then died after another 595 years. 777.
Noah was 500 years, when he heard from God (build ark) , and was flooded after another 100. At the time of the flood he was 600 and died at age 950.

It was 100 years at most.

Noah had his three sons by the time he was 500 (Genesis 5:32).
After this, he is told to built the ark, and he is 600 when the floods come (Genesis 7:6).

I heard 120 years tossed out over and over again by people. I suppose this is based on Genesis 6:3, but it doesn't say there when this 120 years began. I think that this is speaking of post-flood lifespans; after the flood, when the protective vapor-canopy was taken away, lifespans dropped rapidly; Abraham was born 11 generations after Noah, but possibly lived at the same time - Abraham lived to be 175, while Noah was 950.

The time frame is 40 to 50 years to build the ark that had 3 levels totaling about 96000 sq. feet of floor space.

Noah built it on a Tuesday afternoon. He would have finished it even quicker but he lost the instructions half way through and had to improvise. That's why, if you look closely at pictures of the ark, you can see one side is missing.
