In the past I had bad things to happen to me in a church. I listened to Satan. I finally got completely out of church. Then I got weak. I got out into sin. I was so mirsible. I thought just because that church was bad, all churches was bad. God started chastising me. I nearly lost my life. I found a wonderful church. I now go every service. I am closer to the Lord tan I ever was. Friend, Don"t let that get you down, and out of church. Find you another church. Jesus wants us to be Faithful. Hang in there, Jesus cares.

What happens is that if you doesn´t go to the church you´ll gonna be weak and the devil can take you to the wrong way.
The bible says that the cristians have to be togheter to be strong but this is not what happens at all..
You say that the preacher said about the cross, we should dont use this because the most of the cross have Jesus in them, and we have to remember that he is not there anymore...so we dont use.
Another problem is that if you stay alone in your house will be dificult to pray and read the bible, most dificult than if you had a compromittment to go to a church, and them in a church you will have a chance to work for God, to do something to bring the new life to other people.

The preacher does not always know best. And you are fine with God, listen to your heart, God speaks from the heart. Do not let others limit you, you are free. If you want to listen to a preacher, make sure it is a joyful one. They often do not practise or persue happiness and love and can be the exact opposite of what a true Christian looks like at times..

my dad doesn't go to church either, but I know he is a good man. Just because you don't go to church doesn't mean your not "right with God"
It's a good thing to go so you can have that certain spiritual guidance that you don't get in your daily life.
But in the end it's your decision that's why we have free agency.
And no I don't think it's right for your preacher to say that, cause only Heavenly Father knows the desires of your heart.
I personaly think your a good person, if that helps. Good luck to you.

I know how you feel, I had trouble with a preacher back in 1974. I was hungry for truth, & he was not preaching it. To answer your question, If there is a Good church in your locallity that is preaching truth go to it, Read Hebrews 10:25, talking about not forsaking ourselves to assemble ourselves together. But if there is not Truth in your location, what is there to feed yourself. Our church has many people that lives worldwide, & there is no place for them to go to church at. Therefore why should they go somewhere to be taught something that is not Truth. That is one reason our Church have live Broadcast on the internet, it is for those who don't have a church to go to, Our services is live, & it go into almost every nation today, in fact we have more hits on the interent that FOX NEWS does. I will give you our church web-site. I am not trying to persuade anyone to go to our site, But if you would want to see it, go to www.fachurch.org I hope this helps you.
