Hey Guys!! (girls too) Do you like it better when girls wear their hair up or down?

I like a womans hair to be down and styled. Maybe in loose curls. It just looks more womanly to me. But I understand that hair can get in the way so it also looks good in a messy bun with pieces down in the front.

I think young girls with long hair should have something to keep it in place. I have short hair, but when it was long I always wore it in a ponytail (but then I was only 12). I wore them soooo much that my hair had a permanent crimp where my rubberband went, so you know my mother didn't tolerate my hair flying allover the place -- with the wind we got in Texas, especially in the winter, it would look like crap the minute you go outside. In the summer the humidity makes it frizz up. But of course, age has a lot to do with it -- a neat, clean woman can sport unbound long hair with no problem while I would NEVER EVER EVER allow a little girl under age 13 to go to school without at least a partial. I have over 100 Barbies, Kens, & little kids, 50% of them female, & if you look at them you see how I feel about hair -- all the boys & men have clean-cut, short hairstyles while the females have long hair but only a few of the "women" or "teens" have it hanging down. Little girls under 10 look good in pigtails, braids, & ponytails because it keeps them neat & you can tell they're a girl. So the answer is that if a young lady is ready to assume the great responsibility of keeping her hair clean & neat at all times, then she should feel free to wear her hair down. Until then, mothers should see to it that their little girls' hair is always tied back somehow just as my own mother did for me & my little sister Daphne (who is 14 & just now starting to wear her hair down when she straightens it).

I wear it down, because it is more girly but sometimes, if I want to make changes I wear it up, but that is rarely :)

My hair is medium length and I keep it layered. So my hair is pretty versatile. I prefer messy buns. They are so cute.
