tell your friend to ask him out. it should matter what color they are. what matters is that they love each other.

what does it matter if hes black and you're white? maybe people will say that you are a 'funny couple' but the important thing is the bond you have between each other, not the colors of your skins. as for smoking, well, if you don't like the scent, ask him to smoke outside and kiss before he takes a smoke. but if hes smoking at school.. means hes pretty young so would be best for him if he stops but don't bug him with that, guys are really stubborn, don't want to do what the other tells them to do.

what are you worried about? will your friends or family be upset? are you afraid of how the public in general will respond to the interracial relationship? If you really liked/cared about the guy you shouldn't even be thinking about his race. However, i must admit i sort of understand. no one wants to be the object of riducle. but if you or your friend wanted to be in a relationship with this guy then you/or she would have to get used to people having a problem with it. some people(most people) are still very closed minded about interracial realtionships. if you /your friend doesn't think that they can handle being picked on, talked about, and possibly having a fall out with your parents/family/friends then you shouldn't get together with him. And you never know ...his family may not what him with a white girl. Hell, he may not even date white girls. just remember if you did decide to date him, it more than likely will be difficult because of racist people. But aren't you just a little bit racist too? if not then you wouldn't have even needed to ask this question. you would have just said that there is this smokin' guy at school i want to ask out, instead of adding the different races. don't get me wrong i may be lecturing you on being a little racist, but i have to admit that even i must be too. I have no problem what so ever if other people want to be in a interracial realtionship or even a homosexual realtionship, and i have 2 children - i don't even care if they are (just as long as the guys or girls treat my kids right) but i can honestly say that I am 98% postitive that i wouldn't date a black person. (never say never) its the way i was brought up.

He is smoking, he is black, you are white. What do you mean by these? Are these related?
What can we help you with your question?
You can ask him quit by telling him, if he is somebody concerning.

Is she worried that he doesn't like white women, or is she worried about something else? These days most people accept interracial relationships. Everyone except racists.
